Community Co-Intelligence
On this site the word "community" usually refers
to a community of place, a local geographical community -- an
intentional community, a neighborhood, a town, a city, or a close-knit
region. People living together can enhance the quality of their
shared lives. Their diversity, used creatively, is a resource
for their collective well-being.
Since "a whole is greater than the sum of its parts,"
every community has system characteristics and dynamics that
have a life of their own, above and beyond the actions of the
individual community members. A community is a living system
that can be healthy or unhealthy, collectively intelligent or
not, wise or foolish.
The pages below focus on co-intelligence-related materials
useful in organizing communities or building local community
co-intelligence capacity.
