Sebastopol Y2K Efforts

I have been involved with Sebastopol and the Y2K effort since last August. At this point, we now have between 350-400 individual families working for neighborhood solutions. In addition, the town hospital is beginning to coordinate the professional staff "in town" for future emergencies as red cross et al have informed us of the fact that we are on our own.

We are also attempting to get the five grocery stores in town to work together and with the town government Y2K coordinator. Lastly, every effort is given to keep the city government and police department advised of our civilian role and efforts. I figure 350 homes at 3 or so people per home comes out to roughly 1,050 people out of a population of around 8,000.

So, if you have folks in the bay area with questions or concerns with north bay you can advise them of Sebastopol.

Good luck, Fred Beeler
